Angular contact ball bearings can bear both radial and axial loads. It can work at high speed. The larger the contact angle, the higher the axial bearing capacity. High precision and high speed bearings usually have a contact angle of 15 degrees. Under the action of axial force, the contact angle will increase. Single row angular contact ball bearings can only bear axial load in one direction, and additional axial force will be caused when they bear radial load. And only the axial displacement of the shaft or the housing in one direction can be limited. The contact angle of the angular contact ball bearing is 40 degrees, so it can bear a large axial load. The angular contact ball bearing is a non separation type design, and the shoulders on both sides of the inner and outer rings are different in height. In order to improve the load capacity of the bearing, the shoulder on one side will be machined lower, so that more steel balls can be installed in the bearing. The double row angular contact ball bearing can bear the combined radial and axial load and moment load dominated by large radial load, and limit the axial displacement of the shaft. In the parts mainly used to limit the bidirectional axial displacement of the shaft and the shell, the inclination between the inner and outer rings of the double row angular contact ball bearing is limited. The allowable inclination angle depends on the internal clearance, bearing size, internal design and the force and torque acting on the bearing. The maximum allowable inclination angle shall ensure that excessive additional stress will not be generated in the bearing. If there is an inclination angle between the inner and outer rings of the bearing, the service life of the bearing will be affected, and the operating accuracy of the bearing will be decreased and the operating noise will be increased. Double row angular contact ball bearings generally use nylon cages or brass solid cages.
